Разработчики именуют новейшую версию значимым скачком вперед. Дело здесь в новеньком DivX Plus, который построен на базе MKV и является стопроцентно бесплатным. В качестве базы для формата DivX Plus HD избран MKV. Сейчас компонент DivX Converter позволяет преобразовать видео в DivX Plus HD (выходной файл MKV/H.264) стопроцентно безвозмездно.
